Happy Monday! Moccasin Madness.

I was thinking about  purchasing another pair of trusty Minnetonka Moccasin's when I  searched on line and found so many other options that my head felt like it was going to explode. I narrowed it down to about 5 or 6 pair and wanted to share them with you. Moccasin's are one of those purchases that if you buy a really well made and good quality brand they will last you a lifetime... and they get more and more comfortable the more you wear them. Not to mention they look adorable with almost anything. I always feel like a cute little Pocahontas whenever I wear mine!

My Dirty Little Secret

It seems that lately I've been getting a lot more compliments on my hair when I wear it unwashed. This past weekend I got a little lazy due to the Holiday and went 3 days without getting my hair wet. Day one was nice but by day 3 I had a natural tousled bedhead look. It was amazing. My hair tends to get greasy super fast so I just apply dry shampoo (which I'm addicted to) in between showering..... it's saved me many a time. Just sprinkle a bit at the base of your part and use a fine tooth comb to distribute the power. Make sure to comb all the powder into your hair so that there is no weird white spots left over; then style as usual. I find that the dry shampoo gives my hair an extra boost of volume. Viola! Sexy, messy bed head.

The brand that I use is Presto by Oscar Blandi. You can purchase this line at Sephora.com.You can also buy the spray kind but I've noticed that it doesn't seem to last as long.....some people use baby powder as well.

Kisses!

Hello World. Happy New Year!

Another year has come and gone.... and I have to say 2010 was an amazing year for me and the Mister. We have come along way since moving to Austin a little over 2 years ago. A lot has happened in a short time. Sometimes I feel that I'm living life in fast forward mode. 2010 was a blast and I can only hope that 2011 will be even better. Here's a short list of my goals for the New Year:

1. Spend more time with the Mister and our little dog Lucy.

2. Learn to love myself body and soul.

3. Take more fashion risks.

4. Buy a sewing machine and start to learn the basics.

5. Expand my crochet business.
