Hey everyone! Here's an X ray of my spine from my Thursday's Doctor's Appointment. Whew.... what a day that was. If you didn't read my little rant from the other day this is one of the tests that they requested I do to see why I'm having these debilitating headaches. As you can see... here is my spine and the needle going into my spinal sack to remove the fluid. My fluid levels were normal (which is good news) but it still doesn't answer the question....Why am I getting migraines day and night? I literally am living on pain medication.... it's like tic tacs. I shouldn't joke like that..... seriously I take them on a regular basis and they still don't relieve my pain. So anyhow, they are sending my spine juice out to be tested for all sorts of diseases. We shall see. In the meantime I have another MRI scheduled an an eye doctor appointment. Weird right? Well there's a ton of weird connections from your eyes to your brain (obviously) so hopefully I will be getting some answers soon. I'm scared but I'm also sick and tired of feeling this way. It's been over 2 years since I was "officially" diagnosed with Epilepsy. I'm ready to get my old life back.
In the mean time I'm still getting B12 injections and taking daily vitamins. I try to eat right and not drink
( I could do better on that one)..... hopefully the headaches will vanish and then I can workout again. Honestly at this point I don't even care about the seizures, only because they are visual and don't hurt. I can get along alright and am used to a few here or there but these headaches really knock me down. So I will keep everyone updated. I know I'm a Debbie Downer sometimes but I have to get it out there. This is real and it happening to me... I can't believe it sometimes, but it's true. On a side note...this is so Random Matt and I just celebrated our 6th year Anniversary on October 7th! Yippeeeee. We have known each other for over 11 years and have been married for 6 of them. 4 of them (since we moved to Austin) have been the hardest years of our lives, mainly because of my illness(s) Plural. That's right folks. Sigh...... we will delve into that later. Until next time....... keep on keeping on.
xoxo
