I've been looking through my closet lately and thinking about doing some major purging by getting rid of a bunch of old skinnies (stuff I can't fit into anymore but held onto out of hope) and other pieces that I no longer wear. About once or twice a year I get a hair up my butt and go through my wardrobe and reorganize everything and sell or donate old clothing. Some of the clothes that I have come across I have just kept out of sheer nostalgia. Is that wrong? Aren't memories and pictures enough? It's time to let go of the past and start building on the future. Recently I've been thinking about key pieces. I have a few "go to" dresses and boots and jackets that never fail. I usually buy cheap shoes and they end up falling apart within that year. I want to buy some quality shoes that I can wear with almost all my pieces of clothing. The other day I discovered Swedish Hasbeens and instantly fell in love. Why have I not known about them all these years? They have so many styles and colors to choose from and look comfy as well. You can opt to get a tall heal or short heal which is ideal for me. I could pair them with my skinny jeans and a nice blouse or a cute summer dress and in the winter pair them with tights or cute ruffly socks! Eeeeeeep! Take a look at some of these awesome styles.
Gah! Couldn't you just die? I want some in every color. I'm really into bright colors that pop right now. I totally would rock the mustard yellow or orange ones. I would get two pair though... one bright and the other neutral to go with everything. I tend to sway towards deep browns. So be on the look out. I may be wearing some Hasbeens in my future post. Hope everyone is having a great week. Hang in there, it's almost over.
