Blog of the month... CiCi Marie

My newest "Blog of The Month" I stumbled upon just recently. Meet the adorable and oh so petite CiCi Marie. CiCi is a young wee little gal living in Cambridge... hence the amazing scenery in all her images!! Not only are the backdrops of her images breathtakingly lush but so are her adorable rosy pink cheeks and red lips. CiCi has the sweetest makeup reviews and tutorials for gals that are looking to achieve a lil' bit of a vintage vixen vibe. Her style is reminiscent of the 1950's with a modern twist. She is truly a little girlie after my own heart... as I too adore vintage clothing. I went ahead and picked out my absolute favorite "outfit posts" of CiCi's to share with all of you....

I do believe this outfit post is my all time favorite.
I just love this two piece denim ensemble.

What a wonderful picnic outfit or a romp in the park.
Loving this gingham tank with dark jeans.

I just love CiCi's Full Skirt paired with"Swedish Hasbeens"... they add that perfect pop of red.

Check out all CiCi's amazing and informative reviews and tutorials here.

and here.....

Red lips are a must!

I'm obsessed with this adorable striped wiggle dress

Loving this nautical inspired look taken on a very windy and cold day... the pictures look wonderful non the less as well as CiCi's hair and polka dot skirt!

Um.... is that The Eiffel Tower behind you CiCi?
Yup... CiCi is looking adorable as ever in Paris. She manages to be stylish yet remain comfortable in her little black flats.

I hope you enjoy CiCi's sweet little bloggy as much I do! Check out more of CiCi's linky links below and please don't be shy... hop on over to CiCi Marie's blog and drop a comment and follow along.

Blog of the month fox + fabric

Welcome to another edition of Blog of the Month. I'm super excited about this next blogger! Check out the adorable Maxime of fox + fabric. Maxime hails all the way from Belgium  (the scenery in her photographs are soooo interesting). That's not all that I love about her photographs. Maxime's pictures exude a certain whimsical almost dream like quality that I can't get enough of. They are so beautiful and airy... like a fairy tale.

I just adore Maxime's sense of style. Here's a little fun fact about her... her style icon is Zooey Deschanel. Me too girl, me too! You can totally see it in the way she dresses and her adorable reddish brown locks. I'm simply swooning over her hair color and ringlets.

Her lovely classic & timeless clothes are paired with the most adorable almost doll like accessories. I just love her little pale blue hair bow! Also, note her amazing oxfords and leather satchel. She's so chic and makes it seem so effortless.

All her photographs appear to be carefully taken as well as thoughtfully chosen for each blog post. They are simplistic and seem to capture those beautiful "little moments" that we all have in life and want to cherish and remember forever. She not only has the sweetest outfit pictures but also shares recipes and DIY's. If you love coffee and have a sweet tooth then you'll love her caramel-hazelnut frappuccino treat seen below.

And this clever framed map... I don't know about you but I adore vintage maps!

Capturing the little details makes all the difference and I'm so glad that I stumbled upon Maxime's lovely little treasure of a blog. I can't wait to see what other beautiful posts she will share with the us in the future. Swooning over this pale little scalloped collar and those red lips and nails!

I hope you all enjoyed this Months post for Blog of the Month. I truly adore and admire Maxime's style and photographic skills. What a beautiful and unique blog! For more information on Maxime hop on over to her blog at fox + fabric. Check out more of Maxime's links below.

Blog of the month "writes like a girl"

Happy Monday my little lovelies! It's Blog of the Month time!!! Yay! This Month I'm introducing a local Austinite Nicole of "writes like a girl". I just adore Nicole's blog... not just because she loves fashion just as much as I do but also because she writes with such passion... which a lot of us bloggers don't really do all that much. Nicole touches on a lot of worldly issues... one in particular being women's rights. I totally agree with Nicole on pretty much all her political views and admire her ability to voice her opinion. Just last year she was rallying for the reproductive rights of women at the State Capitol. To be a part of something "that big" and "that important" is amazing to me. Read more about her time at the State Capitol here.

I also adore Nicole's "Small Goal" posts that she writes every Month. I love that she sets little challenges for herself (which I think everyone should do) for each Month... which include such things as: reading certain books, tackling her diet and exercise routine, getting outdoors more etc.... check out  Nicole's June goals here.

My absolute favorite posts are the ones where Nicole tackles self confidence and body issues that we all face. I was really interested to read letters that other bloggers had written to themselves... addressing specific parts of their bodies. Don't quite understand what I mean? Well read this love letter that Becca of Along For The Ride writes to her buns, hips and thighs here.

These are just a few reasons why I enjoy Nicole's blog so much... did I mention she has the cutest style as well? I have peppered images of Nicole's 30x30 style challenge throughout this post. Adorable right? I hope Nicole's blog inspires others as much as it has inspired me. If you haven't hear of Nicole's lovely blog "writes like a girl" you should hop on over and check it out for yourself... you won't regret reading it! Also... don't forget to follow Nicole on the links listed below.

Blog of the Month... Swing the day away

Welcome to another rendition of "Blog of the Month." I got out of the habit of posting my favorite blogs but am now getting back into it. I feel that it shows a good "sense of community" for all us lovely lady bloggers out there. I love to share with others whom I follow and who inspires me as a blogger and who knows.... you may discover an awesome blog that you've never heard of or seen before.
Well this little doll is Sara of "Swing the day away". I just adore her and her cute sense of style. Sara hails all they way from the shorelines of New England. Feel free to discover more about Sara here

Coming from New England you bet you are going to see some nautical wear peppered with
light houses and shoreline scenery (my favorite). How I adore light houses and anything nautical.... as if you haven't noticed already. I've selected a few of my favorite outfit posts by Sara to share with you all.  This gal is seriously an inspiration to me... I know that sounds super cheesy but it's true. I just love her sense of style. Maybe because her love of dresses and cute little skirts runs as deep as mine or the fact that she is so dang cute. I don't know.... both I'm sure.

I've been drawn to classic pieces lately such as this red cardigan paired with a small healed red shoe. I love that these key pieces re-appear in some of my most favorite outfits. I mean come on.... the little sailor get up (seen above). I can't even.... how adorable. The hat!! Gah!

Did I mention that Sara is a little adventurer at heart as well? She's been everywhere! I just love how she incorporates her fashion into everyday life... apple picking and raspberry picking. I wish we had that here in Austin! Oh and an Orange grove where she wore the most adorable citrus pattern scarf. I've seen her looking all cute at a Renaissance Festival and in Disney World..... and that's just to name a few! Sheesh!

Love these classic red sunnies paired with a red lip. Her hair is always looking amazing in a cute little bob worn curly and straight.

Cherry picking. I mean....come on. What a doll!

Also.... loving how she transitions her looks into the Fall season. I miss Fall so much!
(We don't have a Fall in Austin). Tights... a cardigan and an awesome scarf make the look.

Lastly, one of my all time favorite looks. This amazing dress by Hell Bunny. Sara looks flawless in this little sailor frock. I had a seriously hard time editing down my favorite looks. You must head on over to Sara's blog Swing the day away and check her out.
You can also follow Sara on Instagram and Pinterest and don't forget about Facebook.

Blog of The Month Scathingly Brilliant

Holy smokes! I forgot March's blog of the month! I must have been super busy and didn't even realize it. So here is April's blog of the month...... Kate of Scathingly Brilliant. I've been following Kate's blog for quite some time now and am always excited to see her new and creative posts. Not only is she a cutie pie but she is a full time illustrator that owns her own business called Flapper Doodle. She has the most unique fashion sense and a serious love for cats.

Here is a Mad Men inspired piece of art work from Flapper Doodle. I love this cute and clever illustration of Betty, Joan and Peggy. I just started getting in to Mad Men recently and am currently on season 3. It's getting really juicy!

This is just one of my favorite outfit's of Kate's. She has so many adorable outfit posts it's hard to choose from them all. I love her whimsical, feminine style and the fact that her hair is pink or platinum blonde makes my heart smile. Whether they're in milk maid braids or a bee hive I adore it all. To view more outfit posts click here.

Besides Flapper Doodle Kate also sells cute little hand made goods and artwork at Sweet & Lovely
Check out these adorable collar clips she sells. Eeeeeep!

My favorite part of Kate's blog are her clever DIY's. This girl is on fire! She has the most creative ideas and executes them perfectly! For example..... how cute is this Cat toe DIY?

Oh! This is another all time favorite. I know I've posted about this before but I'm still on the hunt for the perfect thrift store dress to complete this 3D embellished dress DIY.

She is just so creative that Kate. I highly recommend checking out Scathingly Brilliant.
It's on my list on "daily reads." There is so much more to explore and find on her blog. You can also find Kate on Instagram, twitter, pinterest, facebook, youtube,

Blog of The Month

It's that time again gang! I'm so excited to share my next Blog with you! I fell in love with Oh So Lovely Vintage the second I saw the adorable duo Erin Thiessen and Stefanie Hiebert. They not only have a really neato blog but also own a vintage boutique together called Rhymes With Orange. There's more! They also have a mobile shop that they run out of a renovated 1956 camper traier!!! Eeeek! I'm in love with caravans... if you didn't already know. Get this..... they named their camper Olive!! Can this get any better? Yes it can! Check out their FAQ page for more deets.

Aren't Stef and Erin just darling? Looking good in vintage frocks and B.A.I.T. shoes!

I can't tell you how inspirational these little QT's are. I just love their DIY's..... they are very crafty indeed.
Here are a couple of my all time favorites.

They also have a passion for Mid Century Architecture. I get so giddy looking at these pictures! I have so many ideas swirling around in my head... I can't contain myself! The Mister and I live in a Modern Design  house in a tiny green community in east Austin. We just love it! Our home is actually painted turquoise and brown with a hint of bright orange.

Atomic Ranches

I also get all tingly inside when I see their home decor. These girls have a knack for decorating.
The Mister and I have been talking about adding some Mid Century accents to our home. We are collecting pieces here and there. Erin and Stef's ideas are so inspirational.... here is just a glimpse of some of  ideas they have found.

Kaj Franck bowls and Cathrine Holm dishes

I simply love their stylish clothes. I want to raid their closets so badly! Oh how sweet these lovely ladies look all the time! There is so much to see on their bloggy! It's full of fun ideas, good recipes, awesome clothes (that I would kill to own) and bright and wonderful findings! They are up there on the top of my
