One of my favorite places to eat in Austin is Shady Grove. It's got a laid back atmosphere and not to mention the best bloody Mary's in town. I recommend he hippie sandwich, it's pretty awesome but the BLT is my favorite. They also have live music every Thursday... people start arriving right as they get off work, around 4:00pm is when they start to get jammed. The seating fills up quickly so people bring blankets to sit in on the grass. They play some pretty good, well known local musicians.. It's a good time at Shady Grove. Oh and they also have airstream trailers on the property... one is a designated restroom. I suggest you stop by if you haven't been there before.

As you can see the food is scrumptious.... the prices are reasonable and the service is great. I highly suggest if you are in the Austin area or just visiting then you should stop in and stay awhile.
