Bolers

Boler started a trend in small light-weight trailers.  Some trailer manufacturers tried to make fiberglass trailers in the 1950s, with limited success. As fiberglass methods improved, the stage was set for Boler’s success.

The story begins........ you must now know Matt and my obsession with trailers/caravans. Here's another lil' style that pleases the eye. The Boler designed by Ray Olecko. Thanks Ray.... we really dig your design. Here's some of my favorite images from bolerama.org

Allen and Theresa's 1972 Boler

Ken and Terry's 1973 Boler

Terrie and Tracy's 1974 Boler

Casey's 1977 Boler

Gene and Cindy's 1973 Boler

Paul and Lynne's 1973 Boler

Ken and Lorraines's 1973 Boler

I saved the best picture for last. Awesome!

Let me know if you like Boler's as much as I do.

Renegade 2012

This post is really overdue..... it took me awhile to compile all the images and sites so I do apologize about the lateness.  I recently attended The Renegade Craft Fair a few weeks ago, I always go every year and it never ceases to amaze me. As soon as I walk in the door I'm in craft heaven..... full of talented, creative minds. I always leave inspired and vibrating with thoughts and ideas swirling through my mind. I wanted to take the time to share with you my favorite artists and their crafts.

I was blown away when I saw Julie Dye's Origami. She makes a variety of items ..... I especially love her headbands and  hair clips. It takes great skill and patience to work with paper, Oh and did I mention she is super sweet?

I was so excited when I found out Melisa from Pie N" the Sky was going to be at Renegade.... I had no idea! Melisa is such an inspiration to me, I just love her blog and am an avid follower. Not only is she one of my favorite bloggers but she is also a crafter and sells her items on Big Cartel. You should checkout her store From The Armoire. Also make sure to find her on ETSY. Here is some of the items you will find.

Meet Alana, she makes really beautiful pieces... necklaces, earrings and rings. I would describe her jewelry as delicate yet feminine and mimics objects found in nature. Even though her pieces appear delicate there is definitely an edge to them.
A piece that she is known for designing is a pair of hoop earrings with a snake rib cage bone as an accent. She also uses stone and shell in her pieces. You absolutely must check out her website alana douvros jewelry

Say hello to Libby Diament, owner and creature of Diament Jewelry. Most of her pieces are either handmade or vintage. Libby hunts for eclectic pieces and re works them mixing old with new... some of her vintage pieces she found in warehouses. I just adore her necklaces. Check out some of the vintage bracelets as well. You can find Libby on ETSY.Thanks Libby!

I simply adore embroidery...especially clever embroidery. Meet Danielle Spurge, the creator, owner and all around awesome crafter of the merriweather council. I love her little wall hangings...who wouldn't? What I especially love is her necklaces. I must have one! I'm totally going to get an "H" for Hart of course. I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Danielle and got to chatting about embroidery... what a sweet girl and very down to earth. You will be hearing more about Danielle in the future.

Hello Jillian! It was a pleasure meeting you..... everyone this is Jillian's booth. I just love her set up... very vintage eclectic.....so much to look at and very colorful. This was what caught my eye first..... cute little hair clips. I really regret not getting them.

Wine charms? Yes please! These would make super cute gifts for friends.

See that rabbit ring? I love stuff like that.

I was about to leave the craft show when I turned around and saw Cake Spy! I couldn't believe it... I could have completely missed out on meeting Jessie. Jessie is so awesome... so down to earth and a pleasure to have met. Can you believe it... I met two bloggers that I absolutely adore in one day, lucky me! Jessie is an awesome illustrator and has the cutest blog ever.... not to mention it's loaded with yummy recipes.

I learned about Cake Spy through my friend Trish... I saw a little water color painting of her dog Gary which was so adorable. I asked her about it and she directed me to Jessie's site. I was instantly hooked. You should really check her out.

So all in all it was one of the best days I've had in a really really long time. I'm so glad I attended this year. I met so many cool people and other crafters that gave me tons of good advice. I left so inspired and ready to get myself "out there" for the world to see me and my awesome crochet critters. I'm still high from that day!

Let me know what you all think and if you need anymore information about these wonderful crafters please contact me or the links listed.
